Singing Valentine Fundraiser
Send a Song & Red Rose
Valentine for just a-$50 Donation to the Museum!
Monday, February 14th, 9 A M to 5 P M.
The McLeod County Historical Museum wants to help you send your sweetheart a little love this Valentine’s day. For a $50 donation to the Historical Society, you can pick one of three songs to have personally sung to a loved one, co-worker, friend, relative, or whomever you choose. The recipient will also receive a long stemmed red rose, hand delivered at the time of the Singing Valentine.
We will be booking deliveries on Monday, February 14th from 9 A M to 5 P M, so be sure that your sweetie will be at work or home when you schedule their Singing Valentine. Our Singing Valentine, Lori Pickell-Stangel, will be dressed in 1920’s style and singing love songs of that era. We will deliver anywhere in McLeod County, but will have an added charge of $10 for locations outside of Hutchinson. Song choices are: Let Me Call You Sweetheart-for your sweetie, Side by Side-for a co-worker or friend, or You are My Sunshine-for a relative or someone who lights up your life. So send your love or just embarrass a friend this Valentine’s Day! It’s fun and for a good cause, preserving McLeod County History.
To book your singing Valentine, please call, e-mail, or stop into the Museum. Just ask for Lori, phone: 320 587-2109 or e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
You must have the name and address of the person to whom you will be sending the Singing Valentine. You will want to ensure that he or she will be available to receive their Valentine on that day and during the scheduled time. Also, choose which of the three songs you would like sung to your sweetie.
Last but not least, let us know if you have any special delivery message for your loved one when the Valentine is delivered.
Spots are limited and will be on a first come first serve basis. All slots must be paid for in advance, sorry no billing or COD’s.
