Sunday, February 12th-2 pm
Museum Educational Media Center
Please join us for the first, in a three part program series, that focuses on the book, “Under A Flaming Sky” by Daniel James Brown. Each year the One Book, One Community Read Committee picks a great read to use as a way to connect the local community, and spread the joy of reading! Our February 12th program will begin with a short video on the unique weather that played a role in the firestorm that occurred in Hinckley, MN in 1894 and move into a book club style discussion of this tragic and captivating story. Refreshments will be served and the Museum’s Historical gallery will be open for tours. Haven’t read the book yet? Pick up a copy at the McLeod County Historical Museum’s Gift Shop.
