The McLeod County Historical Society and Museum is thrilled to announce the arrival of a new tool
available for you to use in your research here at the Museum: Ancestry Library Edition! Thanks to a generous Hutchinson Community Foundation Grant, the Museum’s research library will have four computer workstations that will give you access to the following resources:

-U.S. and international documents online
-Images of original documents and photos
-Narratives, oral histories, indexes
-You can search over 30,000 Ancestry.com record collections and 11 billion records with a click of a button
-Access records and collections that span the 1500s–2000s
-Plus much more!

Discover your Story….and join us for one of two training sessions and a chance to learn more about all the Museum’s resources, local history, county microfilmed newspapers, county church records, local directories and much more.
