Executive Director:Lori Pickell-Stangel
Lori has a degree in Merchandising with a minor in art history from South Dakota State University.
Lori came to McLeod County from Renville County, where she worked as the Director of the Renville County Historical Society in Morton, MN for six years.
Collections Manager: Bev Swenson
Beverly Swenson volunteers full time at the McLeod County Historical Museum as their Collections Manager. As a part of her duties, Bev works with artifact donations and the cataloging, photographing, and data entry of all items in the Museum’s vast collections.
She also manages all new artifact donations and heads our Collections Policy Committee team!

hives Manager: Mavis Kottke
Mavis Kottke volunteers as our Archivist and Library Manager for the McLeod County Historical Museum’s research center. As a part of her duties, Mavis oversees a group of dedicated volunteers who index, file, and preserve the Museum’s vast collection of photos, documents, artwork, and digital media!
